It is important to prepare for the birth in advance by doing everything you can to ensure there are no setbacks. This also includes packing the hospital bag a few weeks before the due date. Here are some tips so that nothing is missing from your bag:
- Gather important documents such as ID card, social security card and insurance card (if applicable).
- Don't forget to pack the documents from your analysis history.
- Pack comfortable clothing to wear after the birth, such as a nightgown and cotton underwear.
- Remember that you will probably need disposable panties and cotton pads.
- Don't forget to pack comfortable slippers, socks and flip flops.
- Also pack a toothbrush, shampoo, deodorant and other hygiene items.
- Don't forget to pack some food and drink, such as snacks and water bottles.
- If you want to breastfeed, pack a nursing or sports bra.
- Don't forget to pack something to read or do to help you pass the time in the hospital.
- Keep in mind that depending on the type of birth (natural birth or cesarean section), there may also be items provided by the hospital that you may not need.
